Wedding Day

Our Wedding

The date: the last Sunday in May 2021. The vibe: New York City just unlocked restriction-free bars. Armed with vaccine cards and a desperate need to socialize, Danny and Zaid both ventured out in the wild.Enter AJ and Colin--their respective companions who, in a stroke of absolute luck, recognized each other from a past kickball league. Introductions were made. Within minutes, Danny and Zaid already developed an inside joke. Every time one of the pair parted to fetch a fresh drink, they’d say, “Probably never see you again,” only to inevitably gravitate right back to each other. Cut to five years later with 87 houseplants and one delightfully anxious senior dog named Desmond, they're getting married in the same city in front of their favorite people. Turns out, "probably never" was the absolute best promise to break.

Wedding Party

We are bringing our cultures together for our day and look forward to celebrating both. You're invited to celebrate with us in traditional Western formalwear (longer dresses, suits/jumpsuits), as well as Pakistani traditional wedding attire--create your own destiny. For those interested in South Asian attire, women can consider wearing a shalwar kameez, lehenga or sari, while men could opt for a sherwani, kurta or shalwar kameez (more guidance provided in the Q + A like what to avoid culturally).

You've got questions, we've got answers.
